2010 Proposed Arrowhead Rule Changes

1)Under "SHOW, Article 6". Make trophies optional for all classes except Pee Wee.
2)Address Pay Back checks. It should be the responsibility of the contestant to pick up their checks by the end of the day. Clubs should not be liable to mail them out.
3)Allow flexibility of class schedule. Currently, you MUST run all Arrowhead classes before you can have non-Arrowhead events. This would allow clubs to possibly run Jackpot classes during the course of the show.
4)Raise club sponsor fee from $20.00 to $25.00 to cover the cost of the year end reserve award.
5.Realign the point system. IE: Must be 6 in the class in order for first place to get 6 points. Only one in class, first place gets 1 point.
6. Increase entry fees:
Option 1: Raise each age group by $1.00
Option 2: Increase the Open and Halter classes from $3.00 to $4.00.
7. Change the payout to 50/50 vs. the 60/40 as it is currently.
8. Allow Duluth Saddle Club to change their show date from the second weekend in July to the third weekend in June.
